Atlanta is being hit hard now. Rush hour traffic, trees going down..I just heard a tornado hit in Northeast Ga. a few hours ago near the farm where we lived for 25 years.. Sister is under a tornado warning now just over into S.C...Daddy has not had power since 5 a.m. in Selma, Alabama..A huge branch (large) fell..and went down right down the side of his house. Whew..Only has his back door blocked. But, still no power. Thank the Lord. he has his phone so I can call every few hours.He live 198 miles from Mobile and still had this type wind. I'm looking for what Atlanta is getting in a few hours. Great way to celebrate our 38th Wedding Ann. today We did get a quick early lunch out this a.m. but hope we don't have to have a candle-lit dinner tonight .....E-mailed Ann's son but have not heard back how Ann (Henyslee) made out...She lives near where the eye came in..Bonnie

Ann's son just e-mailed. she is fine. they lost several trees,power (all South) and she lost shingles on roof. He said, they are like everyone else, waiting for power to come back on. May be many days. My lights are blinking now..and just heard on Atlanta news 1 death in the county (where I lived for 25 years) Franklin County..in Royston, Ga...that's about 45 miles from where I live now..I-85 runs thru from Atlanta to S.C... in that town.
