Thanks guys you all have be so supportive, went to see my cardio asst. today, had a rhythem strip done today,up my atenolol to 50 mg instead of 25 .said he wanted my heart rate down alittle more, ask all those questions that were on my mind, this is the overall picture.
They said by the results of the angio it showed no signs of CAD,which she said my cardio was real happy to see and me ,being a smoker,so am good to go on that one,now I have some trcusipic leaking and some aorta leaking ,now as far as my mitral valve goes they say that the LV is normal,no signs of heart enlargement, but I do have a higher wedge pressure, they think that at this time now when everything seems to be pretty normal elsewhere that it would be a go to do the valvoplasty,my cardio has sent my records to UK in Lexington,Ky, I have had family members who have had there heart opts. there ,they are suppose to be pretty good there, and I would be there for the procedure, but she also said that Dr.Gurley might think I might not even need to have it.Does anyone have any info on the wedge pressure LOL this is how she put it ,like water going thru a hose ,mine is like having you know the ones where you can make the water flow big or little well mine at this time is small, causing the pressure to go up.
I feel a little more quite in my mind now ,but the dicision is still left all up to me,my hubby want touch it with a 10 foot pole LOL

I go back next week for a blood pressure ck & blood work

I als notice they got me down for superventricular tachycardia .
medical terms are a little pass me but hey thanks for the info

I know that you have heard this before, you need to quit smoking. I had to last year before surgery and have been smoke free for 1 year and 2 months. You would feel a whole lot better if you did. Okay, enough with the preachey words. You know what you want to do to your body. Glad of the results anyway. You are doing quite well, despite the leaky valve. I had my aortic valve replaced and feel a lot better. You keep hanging in there. And visit us often.
