It's My Turn!!!

Well, my turn on the operating table is tomorrow morning! I had a couple hours of nervousness yesterday (before my pre-op appointment), but once I got out of there I felt calm again.

And today, I'm not nervous. I'm sure that will change tomorrow when they wheel me away. But for now, I'm I am looking forward to the "other side" and to my recovery. My husband is much more worried about my surgery than I am.

Thanks to everyone for all of the information and support!!!

My husband is going to send email updates out to my friends online, and I'll have him emai someone from valvereplacement.com or else I'll show him how to post on here.

You will be in my thoughts and prayers. All I can advise you is to put one foot in front of the other and soon you will be two weeks out from your surgery and will be like "wow, I did it!"

Your husband will have a rougher day tomorrow than you probably!! It is a tough wait for our significant others while we are in surgery.
