:D  :D I've done it! I've committed!! Tuesday morning at 7:30 am, April 18th. Feels great. Pre0p tests the day before. It's all good, as they say!

Thanks a million for all the support and care everyone here has bestowed upon me. You have made this journey possible thus far. I know it will be easier once the time comes, too, having all of you for support.

:) Marguerite

I love that week. I had my last surgery on April 19th, 1994, my mom's birthday was April 20th (I guess it still is even tho she has passed) and my birthday is April 23rd.

You have picked a great time.;) ;) ;)

Hugs and prayers coming your way.

Marguerite,
I'm glad you've got your date picked.
You have established a definite timetable, and I believe that will help reduce any anxiety (anxiety? Haha!) you may be feeling.

We're with you!:) :) :) :)

A fine Spring day!

A fine Spring day!

Marguerite,

Congratulations! Sounds like a good day and it's a nice time of the year to be reborn, just as everything in Nature is being reborn. I now consider February 16 my re-birthday (and surgery day's nearness to Saint Valentine's Day was neat), and I'll bet you will regard April 18 the same. Keep us posted as you prepare. Try to relax as best you can and have some fun amid the preparations.

Cheers,

Bob

Marguerite,

Congratulations! This is SO awesome! I am very happy & excited for you. The day will be here before you know it. Just try to relax, & take it easy. Think of the new energy you'll have once your heart is taken care of. You'll be recovered enough by summer to get out & enjoy it! I'll keep you in my thoughts as your big day draws near.

George

Good on you ...now you are not allowed to change your mind agin OK :D

now i have to book my date to match...

I really will be with you on this one we can hold each-others hands...

So glad you have a date Maguerite. We will be cheering you on for a successful surgery and uneventful recovery. You have done all your homework and we know you will do fine.:)

Dual

Dual

Sounds great, Marguerite. It's been a long time comin'.

Great that you and AussieGal are going to have the same surgery day. Don't forget to take into account the "International Dateline". Australia is a day ahead of the USA. We go through this all the time with my Aussie wife and her family "DownUnder". Christmas there is December 24th here. Go figure. AussieGal should schedule for Wednesday the 19th to be a "Dual".

As odd as it sounds to be congratulating someone on their scheduled OHS... It is cause for celebration. Your life will change in big ways for the better.

Jerry
