Hi, In my previous thread Title called Is it Morning Stiffness........I expressed my feelings. Some our members replied too. That time my INR was 2.8-3.5 and i was not able to bend my
fingers verses palm of my hand till I go for walking and jogging in mornings. Now my inr IS around 2.4 and NO PAIN in morning hours in fingers verses palm and able to bend with out walking and jogging . This Is repeating when ever my INR crosses >2.8 after my surgery. IS THIS HAPPENING TO ANY BODY ?OR ONLY ME? Respond please

No, I see no connection at all. I have been on coumadin for 18 years and my INR has been as high as 4.2 and is normally around 3.0. I have never experienced anything like what you describe.

You may have some nerve damage not yet healed. Coumadin does not cause problems such as what your describing.

I've never heard of Coumadin causing symptoms like you describe.

As just a guess, I would look to something like arthritis as a possible cause. I dislocated and fractured a finger about three years ago and have started to develop arthritis in that knuckle. It can get stiff and sore at times like you describe.

I'd suggest seeing you doctor.

Mark

I agree with the others. Coumadin would not be the cause of the stiffness. My INR has been as high as 5.7 and I have never had that experience. In fact, my normal range is 3.0 to 4.0 so I am always at the level you were at temporarily.
