Intro

Hi there,

I have been following this board since finding out that I would need AVR with a triple bypass. This board provided a great deal of valuable info that did give comfort during an overwhelming time. I am now 3 weeks post op and starting to feel better. Some background- I am 55 and was born with a bicuspid AV. My surgeon did the triple bypass at 40-50% blockages because of the extent of calcification. I know that I have a bio valve, not sure which type, will look it up later. Any way just wanted to introduce myself and say thanks to those that run this board.
