Thanks Laura -- it's a good reminder. A friend of mine fell on the ice a couple of days ago and banged her head. she laughed it off, but you never know. She had a headache and sore neck and we watched her like a hawk for a few days.

Some of you will probably jump me for saying this, but I wonder just how many times this happens to non Coumadin users, yet is amplified beyond belief for those that are on Coumadin? I'm mean seriously, it's dangerous for anyone, not just those on anticoagulation, but somehow, this head injury thing for Coumadin users seems to get thousands of times more press. My whole point is, Coumadin or not, these types of injuries are going to be deadly if left untreated, it's not going to matter if your anticoagulated or not.
