It's prettier, that's about it. :) I have one of the first INRatio's and I'm absolutely happy with it. The INRatio 2 is smaller and supposedly more efficient time wise, but my first edition is pretty fast already.

The INRatio2 also has these great NEW features!

Test results in under 1 minute
Single button operation
1 step auto turn-on with strip insertion
Larger LCD screen and easy to read digits
Simplified, icon based interface
All kits include a complimentary carrying case
200 test battery life
Wider test strip area for easier sample application
Backwards compatible with INRatio Test Strips
33% smaller than INRatio

I have no experience with the INRatio but I can tell you that I absolutely LOVE my INRatio2. It's small, easy to operate and very fast with results. Couldn't ask for a better machine!

with our INRatio. We got it about 18 months ago. But, I sure would like to see and try the new one. Since we pay for our own machine, we are certainly not in any danger of buying a new one for quite some time.

Since the new one is smaller, I can see how convenient it might be for those who travel alot. One of the convenient things I saw about the INRatio 2 is that it uses the same strips as the first INRatio monitor...good thinking and nice for the consumer.

Looks like it is a win-win all around.

Compared to my ProTime 3 that I first had, the INRatio was small to me!!!! I love it, love it, love it. It is so much more efficient than my PT3. I'm sure the INRatio 2 is even better. Why not get the newest model if you can?

My last order of strips from QAS ( @ $ 15.00 each!) were INRatio 2. I called the company and was told they would work just fine with my old unit- just have a little different interface. Havn't used any yet . Hope all goes OK when I do. My next order will go to Marsha's company- hope I can get the strips for under 5 bucks.

Only had mine about a month, I have the Inratio2. It's the newest meter.
I was surprised they were still shipping the older model?

I imagine you'll have a choice so long as older models are in stock.

Good to see you back!

I've sent you a PM.

I love my INRatio. I can't imagine life without it. My new strips said INRatio 2, but they work just fine in the original one. I called to check to make sure.
