INR too! High

Well In the last month I have went from .9 from taking some new drugs to this week 9.4 today . Have not started any new meds or did anything else That would throw this off this much. My primary Dr. told me to take a vitiam K tab. aand call him tommorrow after I test in the moring. He I go on that Yo! Yo!!!!! ride again fun fun.

Tyce is on that ride, too, but not quite as high....went from a 2.2 to a 5.2 last week when we tested......will test again today after a minor modification. INR....IT'S NEVER RIGHT!!!

Hi Sherrin, sorry to hear about your high INR. Remember to make small changes, and so make the yoyo ride less pronounced. If you have no bleeding, there is no great urgency..

Hey Sherrin - good job! I think this is the biggest swing I've heard about - of course, when you start so low you can get a pretty hefty increase.

Geesh - were you hitting the bottle again?

No, I wasn't hitting the bottle. I wish I could though sometimes. Well, today it was 4.9 and the Dr. told me to hold the warfin for today and retest tomorrow. When it high I should went enjoyed the liver & onions that I never eat but enjoy. It did the trick once before! Thanks everybody for their support.
