B.S., A test varies that much and more, ain't buyin what their sellin.lance said:I hope this isn't a double post.
Person claims their INR target range is 2.7-3.0, they test once a month at the lab and are always in range.
With a .3 tolerance do you think this is possible?

U rok)I'm throwing the thread off track and I didn't mean too. Let me just say this, when I first started Coumadin, I blindly followed the advice given to me by those that supposedly were in the know. Heck, they even had me shaving with an electric razor for fear of cutting myself. I sat and tried to measure out the exact amount of Vit K I'd have for each meal and it didn't take long to figure out that all of this was total hogwash. If you really want to drive yourself insane, measure the amount of Vit K you eat for each meal and try, KEYWORD TRY, to maintain your INR. It's not likely going to happen. Throw all that old mythology based crap out the window and do it right. You'll be amazed at how little food affects your INR. Oh yeah, I use a RAZOR to shave with now, cut myself nearly everytime and I haven't bled to death yet.
