Beware of the cost. My coumadin clinic saw INR testing as a revenue source and wants to charge me $30 each time, which leaves me paying it until I reach my deductible, then it's a $6 copay. Weekly assessment of your numbers is not needed. Only when you are out of range should you have to call in your results.
