In my area, an intestinal virus is going around which causes loss of appetite, diarrhea and maybe some vomiting. No fever or any other symptoms. My toddler has it now and I'm wondering what would happen to my INR if I get it. Would it tend to go down or up? Not eating or doing activity would seem to cause it to rise, but if the Warfarin gets ejected out the top or bottom, it seems that could cause INR to drop. If I get the bug, should I inform a doctor/test more often?

If you do pick up the bug, keeping well hydrated is a good idea and making note of any vomiting in regards to
the timing of your pill taking would be a good idea too. Docs like to have as much info as possible.
Since I have my own monitor, I would probably check INR every couple of days in cases of severe sickness.
Most flu bugs are only intense for a couple of days.
Wash your hands several times a day right now, eat well, and try to rest enough.
Good Luck !
