Hey everyone, I have been taking 9mg of warfarin since 6th day after op and my INR slowly increased to 2.4 (been 2.4 to 2.5 for 2 weeks with bi-weekly tests) current level as of Monday 29th last blood test. I come off oxycontin on the 28th and they dont want to test me again until the 5th of Sept. Is this too long to wait with a change in medication. I am only taking warfarin and citalopram(SSRI) just curious Brad.

I reasonably sure that there is no interaction between the two, so you should be just fine. Sounds like your one of the lucky ones that found the sweet spot early.

The INR quite often drops when one feels well enough to stop pain meds. However, it has to do with better exercise and eating and not the pain medication.
