INR and Heat?

Does heat and humidity change your INR?

I was wondering this myself this weekend. My husband and I spent most of the weekend and all day on the 4th by the pool. It was a 101 yesterday. Hubby did get in the pool to cool off some but we mostly just laid by the pool and had a peaceful day. We both drank lots of water. I was worried the heat might effect his INR.

This is a surprise. For a moment I thought that losing water would lower INR.

Mine has been in range all spring/summer..but Dustin may be right..It was on the lower side..until this past Monday..Hit the perfect 3.0? Before, I think I got 3..2.7's......My range is 2.5-3.5........ for recent VR.members..I remember that the heat really got to me...that first summer. (surgery was at the end of march)..Not the INR..just dragging for that entire summer. ..especially if I was around the pool, ect.. Georgia heat is torrid..with the humid, ect...Walk the dog early and late...He lays in bathroom next to A/C duct ..after I walk him..on cool tiles.. Bonnie
