incision questions

I am 2 1/2 weeks out and have really strange sensations in the incision. No pain, tingling, sometimes like a shock wave. When I bend over I feel a pulling and I assume that is because I have a small frame yet large breasted (don't know any other way of putting that). Have any of you felt this? Man there are days it can drive me nuts. I have to hold on when I bend over to pick something up.

Hi Kathy....I never had any "pain" but I did have tingles and something I will discribe as a electric buzzing feeling....I'm sure it is just part of the healing process.

What you are feeling are the nerve endings trying to heal, and yes it can drive you nuts.
Bending at the knees instead of the waist might help. Only time will heal this sensation.

The tingle sensation is normal as the nerve endings heal. It subsides over time but I'm over 2 years out and I still got the odd tingling sensation. Sometimes feels like pin pricks. My doc says is still quite normal even this far out. As for the pulling sensation, to this day I still feel like they sewed me up one size too small. Whenever I stretch I feeling a pulling sensation at the incision as the skin stretches. Some people say their incision area feels numb, but mine has always been very sensitive. It's gone a bit keloid and I have sensitive skin to begin with.

Yup, same situation here. After a couple of months, I also started to get itching in the skin around the scar. Now it's an almost tearing feeling because I'm moving around much more, kind of like the scar tissue is breaking apart and gaining some flexibility.

The itching drove me crazy at times but one feeling I have never lost is the strange sensation of "pulling", kind of like I am joint/fused all the way through those layers along the site of the incision. Its especially noticeable when I stretch or breathe deeply. Actually it feels like I have a tight bra on all the time
