My friend has regained the ability to speak, and his memory is intact. This is wonderful news to me. As I shared with you my angst at learning of his misfortune from a post-operative stroke, I wanted to also share the happiness I feel for his first triumph on the way back.
He has moved to a rehabilitation facility, and will be addressing his left-side paralysis while there.
