The thought of PillarPaul wearing a red Wonder Bra got me to thinking about cleveage. :D The current placement and reddish-brown color of my scar makes it look like I have major cleveage when wearing a V-neck shirt. :D :D

I am so worried. . . will this effect stay after the scar lightens? Should I be playing it up to maximum effect before it lightens?? Will he hate me forever when he finds out it is just a heart scar, and not representational of what lies beheath?

No one mentioned these critical post-surgery issues. . .:( Has anyone else (male or female) noticed the cleveage effect. . .?

:)D :D :D :D )

Melissa

Hey Melissa,
No I haven't noticed. But I will start looking!:D
I will tell you a story at the reunion, to long to post.
Have A Great Weekend!

teehee, Melissa! YES YES YES!!!

My sister always had cleavage - I didn't. Then I had a sew up job down the center and lo and behold, there it was!

Hey there Melissa. Would you mind waiting for my opinion? Would like to tell you in person.

Have no problem showing the "females" of our group my scar. Teeee heee... Janie, Rain and I have a great story for you too!

See you soon!

Melissa are you suggesting that we have futures modeling for Frederick's of Hollywood?
The scar certainly does provide one with a "Helga the Barmaid" look.

Hey, I'm not going to the reunion. You will have to e-mail your stories to me!

Melissa, I didn't notice any improved cleavage (would love it), so I will have to make sure with my next surgery that they care of this for me. I will put it on my list next to: drug me up before the chest tubes come out. What d'ya think? :D :D

I missed the wonder bra story with Pillar Paul! Where is it?

Gisele, that might actually work! Daughter had a large cyst removed from abdomen and she asked her dr if he could take a little of the extra skin out - a mini tuck so-to-speak - and he never said a word, but he did!

Wow

Wow

If that's the case I have a small list for while I am under.........a few fat spots that I couldn't get rid of at the gym.....you know I have a bit extra under my upper arms that will fill into my chest area nicely. It's in the same area...........kinda-the upper part of my body anyhow! LOL :D

When Joe had minimally invasive surgery, he got a b--b lift that he didn't need on one side, because there is an incision under the breast area. Actually had a little cleavage on one side. He wasn't too interested in that. The swelling went away.

So for you gals who are considering minimally invasive--something to think about. But you would have to ask for equal time for the other side. Maybe the surgeon could cinch up the stitches so they effect won't go away. :D :D

single & crusin'?!?

single & crusin'?!?

Ma...Single & Crusin'??!! Don't forget, your "little boy" reads these! I'm blushing.

Melissa,
Sad to say it does fade. I thought I was in luck because I form pretty thick scar tissue. It took mine about 6 years, but unfortunately my fake cleavage is gone. Every now and then, with the right bra, the scar does come to the rescue. :)

I always threatened my husband that I was going to have a long stem rose tattooed over the scar.

PS - Dave and anyone else with a funny story, be prepared to tell it more than once for those of us who can't attend all of the reunion events.

I thought maybe they put in inplants when they did the surgery. Guess I was wrong. Actually my scar is really bumpy and kind of gross. It looks and feels worse since he took some of the wires out. Where they stitched inside has caused huge bumps and is quite sore. My extra cleavage is probably from the weight I gained.

Yes, I have that too (after seven years); in fact, it even shows in a recent family pic. The only problem is it's a little off kilter, not right down the middle. Hmmm, must be lopsided LOL.
