Impact of Beta Blockers and ACE Inhibitor Drugs on EF?

I am on Metoprolol and Coversyl (since shortly after my AVR on Oct. 1/13) and was wondering what impact they have on a person's Ejection Fraction % and the results that you get from the Echo on this. I'm taking them to help my heart remodel itself and heal, but do they also 'artificially' lower your EF during this time?
