I'm one! One year anniversary for AOR

Today marks my one year anniversary with part of a cow in me!!. It seems like only yesterday.

Things have been uneventful. I'm back to doing the things I did pre-op. I skied 50 plus days last winter, climbed a volcano to ski, spent lots of days hiking and biking, and celebrated 20 years of marriage by renewing our vows on the shores Caribbean.

I feel as good as I've ever felt, still some wierdenss with the sternum muscles but that will probably be with me for life.

Thanks again to this website which is a great help to anyone who will have to endure OHS.

That reminds me of when my husband asked my surgeon if I would be able to run the marathon after my surgery!!!
