Hi Folks, I was worried about this one. Last week I went on my first ice climbing trip since OHS 13 months ago, to Ouray, Colorado. It went REAL well! I expected to get some pain in the sternum from using the arms so much, but that didn't happen. I do have some aches and pains but nothing around the heart, just the muscles we use only when climbing ice. The groin can be taxed by over kicking into the ice (like I did, I don't get much practice here in Florida). There were some spots where the heart beat felt different (as in rapid at a crucial point), but nothing to stop at and come down. I can't wait to do it again. Cheers, Will

There ya go!

Great to see you living large. Congrats on the recovery and the trip. It sounds like you had a great time.

You must be crazy! But it sounds like you had a wonderful experience. Your photo of the dog needs a story!!! What a companion!!!

Thanks for sharing, especially to those of us still outside the OR door......life can be exhilarating on the other side!! Well done!! :D

The photo is of my first ex-racing Greyhound I adopted. I just put some glasses on him and shot the picture. He was good with those kind of props, as are most greyhounds. I think this is because they're use to a racing muzzle and are not very concerned with things on their head. His name was "Half" and he is now at the Rainbow Bridge after bone cancer. Cheers, Will

Hey, William, that's great!
