Ian McEwan's Latest Novel

Hello,

I wanted to recommend Ian McEwan's latest novel which revolves around the character of a neurosurgeon ... (thank you, Marty for mentioning it in another post!) I'm going to send the book to my dad.

I'm finding many paralells with neuros and cardios in terms of their God complex, etc. It's humorous.

i just finished reading it also and found it highly enjoyable and amusing. Kind of reminded me of Tom Wolfe's "Bonfire of the Vanities"- another of my favorite authors.

Is it called Saturday? I remember reading 'The Child in Time' as an exam text once! Ian McEwan, Tennesee Williams and Shakespeare all covered in one course!
