havent felt well, worried about my daughter, and the past week..Ive had pain in my jaw and ears ..pressure, nauseating feeling..so..I went to dr feelgood (gp)and got some muscle relaxers.. with these and darvocet I might get to sleep more than 3 hrs!!!I dont know what is causing this and neither does he.. no infections no sinus draining??? Just pressure than pain, enough to wake me up at night.I am trying to read the posts, sorry everyone

Dentist???

Dentist???

I had similar problems several years ago. My gp could not find anything, but he suggested I get a dentist to check my teeth. Sure enough, I needed a root canal. My jaw hurt some and I thought I had an earache. Might be something to check out. Hope you get to feeling better.

God Bless,
Bobby

Hi yaps....

Hi yaps....

I just wanted to say that I hope your feeling better and getting some sleep. I know how the pain is given the fact that I am in pain 24/7 between my neuropathy and arthritis...Please don't apologize for not feeling well, and please know that I am wishing that you feel better right quick and that your in my prayers as always. Harrybaby666 :D :D :D

The dental check is probably a good idea, Yaps.

You already know that angina in women often shows up as jaw pain, and you've had enough angina of your own to know what to look for, so I'm going to take it that heart issues have been ruled out.

Let us know how it turns out.

Best wishes,

Soma dosent seem to be helping, only dental problems is arthritis in my jaw, seeing a new dr today...

Did you wind up seeing a dentist? Your symptoms sound very typical of TMJ problems. Even people who have never had TMJ trouble can develop symptoms if they are, for example, in a car accident (even a 5 mph bump can trigger it) or a jarring experience of some kind. I would certainly ask about TMJ before accepting the arth diagnosis.

Will just keep dragging on...Thankyou
