Last week my INR was 2.2 taken with INRatio. Coumadin clinic raised my dose from 30mgs a week to 32.5. This week it is 2.3 INRatio and 2.6 Lab. She now wants me to go back to the 30mgs a week. Do you think that my INR will go down next week because it was dropped back?

The only changes have been taking Lyrica for the past two weeks and lack of walking, I now have Plantar Facsitis along with Neuropathy which has brought my walking program to a hault. I would think my INR should be on the rise. Any thoughts?

The range for Aortic valves is 2.0 to 3.0. At 2.6 you are almost perfect. My range is the same as yours. I certainly would not change my dose with an INR or 2.6.

My range is 2.5 - 3.5. I have been on the same dose for a long time now and INR is usually 3.1 to 3.6.
Why on earth would they lower your dose at 2.6? I would not change a thing from your current dose. Even if you go a bit higher - you are still fine.

I have to agree with Ross, especially if you can't be physically active at this time.
I also have to comment regarding one's range.
This is the doctor's call, my range for my aortic valve has always been 2.5-3.5.
Personally I don't like a range of 2-3, it's too easy to go way too low.

As everyone else has 'advised', I would NOT lower your dose based on an INR of 2.6 That is all the 'advice' you need.

Thank you all for your advise. Now if you all could only help with Neuropathy, Plantar Facsiitis and the cramps I get every night in my feet, and legs, Only kidding but it sure would be nice.
