Well I made it and from what I can see and remember it was quite uninventful.

I had my AorticValve replacement 4/10. They found a small blockage while in there and decided to fix it while in there. So that was suprise when I woke up. MY BP was always low and they could not seem to get it back up. They were concerned about this because they had to give me the lasicx. So finally decided to give be some blood and it brought the bp back up. I had smoked for many years and did quit Jan 07 but did have a few set backs. So I had a tough time gettting my oxgenation up, but that finally worked too. I have to see the cardio next week and then the surgeon the following. I am tired but can not sleep well. In the hospital I could had they of let me...now at home I cant, but this should be the least of my problems.

okay off for now I am tired.

Welcome to this side of the mountain, and home! I had a hard time sleeping at home, too. Firstly, I was taking less drugs and secondly I missed the great automatic reclining bed...it was cool (and comfortable). I also missed the nurses waiting on me

Glad to hear your home, now you can get on with the recovery. If you have a perscription for Xanax try that about an hour before bed. I did that with two Tylenol PMs and I would get at least 5 good hours, otherwise it was 30 minutes here and there all night long.
