Well, it wasn't easy, and I'm taking one day at a time, but my surgery was on Jan. 6. I had the Ross Procedure, NO Coumadin!!!! and a part of my aorta replaced. I'm doing well, and left the hospital yesterday, Jan. 10th.
Now it's all about being patient while I recover and the scars heal.

Dr. Paul Stelzer did the surgery and he is the GREATEST!!!!!!!
In fact, he saw me today because I felt my incision was swelling a bit, and he pushed around his schedule.

I would like to thank you all for your encouragement and support during the past 3 months since I joined the board. It really bucked me up!

All the best, Margaret

So good to hear from you. Glad it all went well... now concentrate on recovering. You've heard the routine: eat, breathe, walk, rest. Repeat. Keep doing that & you'll be good as new in no time.
