I got so sick of them jabbing me with needles that tied up my sheets, scaled down the side of the hospital and ran (shuffled) away.

Actually, they totally let me go because I am doing so good after my surgery on Tuesday. It feels so wonderful to be at home, even if I do look like something out of a Tim Burton movie. My whole family is putting their heads together to find times to come sit at home with me, but really I just want to watch my Buffy DVDs and catch up on the huge stack of books I have been meaning to read. And I really want to take a bath. No no, don't worry, I won't. :(

Oh, and someone asked in my other post... I did go with a tissue (cow) valve.

Welcome Home! Glad to here you got to go home. Nice you have family to come and sit with you. I know what you mean about needles. Both of my arms wer black and blue. I felt like a pin cushion. Hope you have an uneventful recovery.

I'm glad things went so well for you. It is always nice to have people/family to help you along. Remember to take it easy, and don't overdo it. :D

So happy to hear you are home,,,,,,,,,

from one 'cow valver' to another. :)

Hope you have an easy, uneventful recovery.

I am very happy for you and enjoy a peedy uneventful recovery. I am glad you can watch TV and read...I could not do either for more than a month...I just sat on the sofa and relaxed watching other people walking:D I did walk actually a lot. So rest, eat and walk.

Glad to read your home sweet home...nothing like home
Wishing you the best in rest of your recovery.
