We lived there for 10 years, and I would highly recommend Dr. Frederick Simonie. He's in N. Scottsdale, 55 years old, a tremendous cardiologist. I worked for him for the full time I lived there, so I am a little partial, but I was also his patient at the time. When any of his patients have heart surgery, he is at the hospital when they come out of the OR, so they see a familiar face, and don't have to deal with the house Drs. He is VERY dedicated. I've been in touch with him since my surgery in Sept. just to make sure everything is OK.

That aside, just take a LOT of money with you to buy a house there. Our's is listed at 4 times what we sold it for in 96. It is also a DRY heat...beats humidity anyday!

I live 200 miles from Phoenix and had my surgery done at AZ Heart Institute and Hospital in Phoenix. I can't say enough good things about them. I would seriously check them out.
There website is www.azheart.com

If you like the heat, you'll love Arizona. Here we rake rocks rather than cut grass. :D
