To any here that have peripheal artery disease, I have noticed after any activity, no matter the legnth of time or stress, that when I stop ...my ears plug up..like on an airplane flight. It happens to me everytime, and I dont know why.
I do not wish to mention to dr...as he may use it as an excuse to hospitilise me again... and Ive managed to stay out since March.. :p .
Has anyone here experienced anything like this?I mean they clear back up on their own.. popping my jaw or etc dosent do it, I just have to wait about 1 minute or so, then I can hear again..??? Anyone? Thankyou, love the pup

That happens to me sometimes when I stand up too fast...things go black and sometimes my hearing goes briefly. I assume it's from my low bp though.

Thankyou Strawberry, hadnt thought of the b/p.. though mine runs high.. I was wondering if my subclavien or carotid was doing it.. thankyou , Yaps

Oddities of the Ear

Oddities of the Ear

Yaps, first of all, there are no "odd" questions on vr.com. There are only a lot of odd things happening to us. :D

I haven't figured out what's going on, but I have odd things going on with my ears post-surgery. The docs usually just shrug their shoulders when you talk about ears being stopped up or about ringing in the ears. I have a number of things to counter besides recovering from OHS, including type 2 diabetes and spinal stenosis, so I'm never quite sure what's going on when my legs feel heavy after a walk and my ears are buzzing like the rumor circuit in DC.

Beginning to wonder if I need to explore some alternatives. Biofeedback? Anyone know about that? Accupuncture? Therapeutic massage? I am not sure going to a conventional ear specialist will do any good, but I may try that.

Or maybe I will just watch more baseball.

Anyway, thanks Yaps for asking this question. It is not "odd" at all. (BTW, I love the pup too -- couldn't get by without my faithful yellow lab/golden retriever.)
