Its says I had an S1, S2 with mid-systolic click, mitral regurgitation, tricuspid regurgitation and MVP. No significant pulmonary hypertension, and my regurgitation was 2+.

The report doesnt say anything about my Ejection Fraction.

Pulmonary Pressure: RVSP 21

Aortic Root - 2.7

Left Atrium - 2.5

Left Ventr.End Systolic Dimension: 2.5

Left Ventr.End Dystolic Dimension: 4.2

Left Ventr.Posterior Wall Thickness - Systolic: 1.1

Left Ventricular Septal Thickness- Systole: 0.9

Left Vent. Function: looks like m 1, I can't really read the first letter.

I also exercised to a Stage IV of a Bruce with no significant EKG changes and reached a heart rate of 186.

Blood Pressure 120/70.

So what do you guys make of this????

I ran into this after responding to your questions in another thread. Your numbers are equal to or better than my wife's numbers across the board -- and her numbers have been unchanged for a decade (as far back as we have records). I'd feel great if these were my numbers.

I'm not a physician, but from what I've been told ad nauseum, 2+ regurgitation (mild +) shouldn't affect a pregnancy at all.

Well.........

Well.........

about the only thing I can help you out with is the regurgitation factor. For some reason, pediatric cards tend to use the classification for regurgitation as 1+, 2, 2+, 3, 3+, and 4. 1-2 range is mild, 3 is moderate, and 4 is severe. A 2+ is mild/borderline moderate - nothing critical yet, just needs to be monitored fairly closely. Katie rode a 2+ for a little over a year before we were reclassified as a 3++ (her card didn't have the heart to look me in the eye and say 4). Please remember, though, that Katie is a a growing child and has a slew of other things going on, so I would think that an adult could ride for quite some time with this level of regurg. But please make sure that they monitor you regularly. Hope this helps a little and good luck on deciphering the rest.
