I did it this time!

Yesterday I came home from work and was going to get my teeth cleaned. I already did my pre-med. I got out of the car and slammed the door right on my finger. OUCH! I iced it right away and DH wrapped it. I went to the dentist then the ER. Got 4 stitches. Makes it tough to type. This thing really throbs. Anyway, can't wait until this heals. Everybody.....watch those car doors

Yeap. I can't seem to get near a car without some sort of damage occuring. Could it be a conspiracy on the auto industries part?

I remember when my dad slammed his entire hand in the car door.Broke the hand and a finger. He was a GP but did some surgeries (but none while his hand healed!)
Be careful around those doors!

I know someone who slammed the car door on her young child's finger.
She took the piece of finger, put it in a bag and rushed to the ER.

Ouch Deb --- that hurts just thinking about it! I hope you get healed up soon ---- or maybe you can drag it on a little longer & have your DH wait on you for a change!

I am getting pretty good with my left hand. (it was on my right hand) I did not get the nail drilled. THe doc kind of discouraged me and now it throbs unless I hold it up. Good thing it is the index finger.

Prop it up on a pillow tonight....ouch.
