Hi everyone,
Today it's been 3 years since OHS, mitral valve replacement, mechanical.
I'm doing well, still have some issues with my weight (too much) but other than that, doing good.
My pt inr has been so stable (knock wood!!!) that they have me counseling pts. who can't keep theirs in range, most of them have DVT, and won't be on it for life.
I'm still volunteering for the Zipper club, my name is on their website, and with the 2 hospitals involved with my care, Deborah-surgery & Our Lady of Lourdes- rehab.
With all the pts. I deal with on a weekly basis, only 1 that I know has a replaced heart valve. So this site is still very important to me. Thanks for being here and always willing to help.

Thanks Christina L, though I still need to lose weight in order to keep my heart healthy, but thanks for making me feel good.

Congratulations, Terry!
Your weight looks good to me, but I also believe that I should lose weight in order to help my heart. I guess after we undergo the surgery, we have a different outlook on the importance of remaining healthy!

Hi Terry
Great hearing from you. Been a while.
Congrats on 3 years. Time sure does fly.
My 3 will be next Feb. Some ways seems
like last week.
Take care and stay in good health.
