As I mentioned in another threat, I was bike shopping.
Yesterday, I called my husband before leaving work and we met at the bike shop. Called my friend, Debra Simpson, and told her that John and I were going to look at the bike again.
We bought the bike (Trek 7200) and various accessories -- still want more! -- and got home.
Then Debra called and asked, "Are you 'with bike' yet?" I died laughing....
After dinner, I went out for 30 minutes or so on the bike and found my body has muscles I never knew existed ...
How can anyone ride in races like the Tour de France? (Yeah, I know, you train for those and build up endurance and have wonderful bikes!)
Anyway ... other than reading the owner's manual, any suggestions for learning to use all those gears on my bike?
I told my husband he could "borrow" the bike when I'm out of town on weekends. He's fortunate that I did not buy a women's bike.
Thanks to everyone's suggestions on accessories.
