I was putting sets of plans together and I cut the tip of my finger with the edge of a plan!
That was about 1/2 hour ago and I can't make the bleeding of my finger stop!
Today INR =3.1
What can I do ?
Thank you!

If we are talking paper cut....

If we are talking paper cut....

1. wipe cut with hydrogen peroxide.
2. Apply direct pressure with cotton ball.
3. after 2 minutes, dab with cotton ball to check for blood.
4. if still bleeding, repeat step two, till no blood.:)

This is a paper cut?
You should be able to stop the bleeding by applying pressure to the cut. I checked the American Red Cross' website and found this:

I keep a big selection of first aid supplies at home, including butterfly closures. I took 2 Red Cross first-aid courses when I was a Camp Fire leader and got hooked on stockpiling supplies. If only I worked in a hospital's emergency room ... that would be heaven!

Direct pressure for as long as it takes unless it's super deep. If that's the case, you'll be needing some stitches.

If it's seeping - pressure. If it's profusely bleeding - to the ER for stiches. Take it from someone who knows - if you wait too long, they cannot stich and you will have an ugly scar.

Thanks you all! It just stopped 10 more minutes after finished the post thru Hydr. peroxide + pressure....
Next time I put set of plans together I am gonna wear latex gloves.
