Mine is due Jan. 2 my surgery is Dec. 30th Yea right! They won't do it early or insurance won't pay. I'm in no hurry for sure but wondering if it has been an issue before?
How long after OHS can you get a mammogram?

My cardio made me wait. I don't remember how long but it was several weeks.
I had mine after 5 months. No real problem. Aren't you gonna be too sore?
I'd advise you to wait at least 4 to 5 months after your OHS. Believe me, you will be plenty sore & tender in that area without having to add to it!

I had one less than two months after my surgery. There was no problem.

Exact thing happened to me. My surgery was end of February and my mammorgram appointment was March 5. I rescheduled for about 5 months out from my surgery.
I called my PCP and she said it was fine for me to go at whatever point it was comfortable enough for me. Wait until your sternum is fully healed, would be my advice, (at least 3 months) so it won't be too uncomfortable for you.
