Hospitals in Bay Area

Does anyone have any experience with either the California Pacific Medical Center or the University of California, San Francisco medical center, with respect to their expertise in performing aortic valve replacements, along with ascending aneurism repair?

These are the two hospitals open to me in my current insurance plan and I'm eager to hear any experiences with either of them.

Sorry, but although I live in the bay area, I had both my avr's (and 1 aneurysm repair ) at Stanford Hospital.
Many yrs ago my former brother in law had brain surgery at UCSF Med ctr,he recovered really well. That doesn't help for the heart, though.
Ask your cardiologist which one has the best surgeon he would recommend for you. That's what I did as I had many hospitals to choose from.
