Hi everyone. Allison's husband Gary here again. Just letting you know she is coming home tomorrow - exactly one week after the Ross Procedure op, which is a couple of days earlier than we had anticipated. Cardiologist and surgeon both v happy with her progress. She had an echo today and was given the all clear. She's looking forward to being able to get some decent sleep (hopefully) instead of being in a busy, noisy hospital. I am sure Allison will be on here soon to tell you how it went. And good luck to Steve Epstein for his procedure tomorrow (US time).

Gday Gary,
That is great news, I thought I was doing ok when I left after 10 days after my first one, Super Ally. I'm sure being home will be great for you all. Send my best wishes to Allison and all the best to you all. Looking forward to hearing her story. Take care.

Gary -- I repeat my last comment -- WOW! She is really a trooper, isn't she? Well, you already knew that, but the rest of us are still learning. I'm so happy for Allison and for you. You've both done a great job.

Thanks for thinking of me. I'm leaving for the hospital in a couple of hours and will have someone post an update, probably late this evening Chicago time.

Go Class of 2011!

Thanks Gary she must be inspired by the love that awaits her
