Well everyone, here is an short version of an update. I will write more tomorrow evening when I get a chance to catch my breath.
The wedding ceremony went great. There was about 30 of our friends and family that flew to Vegas for the wedding. My aunts and uncles from my home state of Michigan even flew in for the weekend. We had a great time. There was a ton of laughter and quite a few tears and I know I won't ever forget it. The chapel did a very nice job with the wedding video and I was so pleased with the photographer that I purchased the copywrite for the photos and as soon as I figure out how to change my avatar I will use one of the wedding photos to replace my current avatar.
We flew out of Vegas on Monday the 21st and arrived at Sandal's Royal Bahamian resort about 8:30 that evening. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend that resort to anyone! It was phenomenal. We had a better time than I could ever have imagined. The food was exceptional and the employees were never without a joke and a smile. They certainly took good care of their guests, I must have gained 10 pounds! I have a few days where the heat bothered me but I found that if I stayed in the pool I was fine.
We very reluctantly flew back to Vegas this past Monday and spent the night. Our intention was to use that 24 hours before we flew back to Washington to recuperate but I don't know what I was thinking.....who recuperates in Vegas? We flew out of Vegas tonight at 7:00 pm and got into Portland Or. at 9:00 pm. It took us about 2 hours to get home and I am happily raiding our empty pathetic fridge in search of any type of food.
I was pleased to have a week of feeling relatively well. I did much better than I thought I would.
Before I left on my venture, the neurologist had told me that he felt that many of my symptoms were due to M.S. I still am not quite sure how much credence I give to that diagnosis. I am scheduled for an MRI in the morning (actually...it is only hours away). I am probably pushing my luck by staying up this late but I just wanted to drop a quick line and let everyone know that I am still around and not laying flat on my back in some hospital somewhere.
When I master this photo thing I will change my avatar to a Mr. and Mrs. picture. Ross, maybe you can give me some tips on picture size and what not. Talk to you soon,
Lori

Am I going to see you in the next Sandals commercial? Wouldn't that be great! Glad to hear that all has gone well and hope it continues. Bet you can't tell you've been missed around here any, huh?

congratulations! I am glad that your wedding and honeymoon went well.

When I had my MRI I opted not to take any relaxing meds so I could be alert when talking to the tech. She even let me take a look at my pics... It was really cool looking. :)

Congratulations Lori!! I'm so glad to hear you had such a wonderful time with the wedding and the honeymoon.

All the best with the MRI (which I'm sure you've had by now) and everything else.
