I'm all smiles and happy. My DH and I went to see my surgeon today and he was so pleased with every aspect of my recovery. Said my heart now sounds Normal!!! He gave me a thumbs up for (almost) all my requests and discharged me.
Along with a wonderful prognosis, really good news is he told me I only have to stay on warfarin two more weeks and can then stop it.
It is still overwhelming to me when I quietly sit and think about what this man has done for me......twice. It's awfully hard to find just the right words to thank someone who does for us what our surgeons do!
I hope to only see him again by a chance social encounter like if we're both invited to the same wedding.
