Just wanted to let you guys know that after my cardiologist took me off Digoxin 3 weeks ago I ended up being admitted to the hopsital for 4 days. Im doing much better now. I was in CHF. My EF is now at 30% and my LV function is badly declined. I was having SOB,weight gain, wselling in abdomen. All the classic signs so I went to my cardiolgist last week and he admitted me immediately and started me on Lassixs and Heparin. My INR was down to 1.5 and they were very concerned. I was in the cardiac intensive care unit for 4 days and as I said Im much better now. Im just tired out and taking it easy. My cardiologist put me back on Digoxin. My heartrates have been anywhere between 44 and 114 and my BP dropped to 90/50 while I was in CICU. My cardio is going to decide if he wants me to have a pacemaker or not. Its always something with me! Take care everyone and good health to all.

Hello!

Hello!

I'm sure it is good to be home! So glad your doctors were right there with you trying to figure it all out.

I'm fairly new and not familiar with you, but wanted to wish you well just the same. Your public profile says I'm somwhat older than you yet you already have 3 grandchildren!! I'm jealous. My youngest is a senior in high school and there just don't seem to be any little ones on the horizon for a long time!! I hope they bring you joy and comfort in these testing times.

Good luck! Keep us posted.

Sorry you haven't been feeling so well, Alicia. You have had enough to deal with for a dozen people! Why did your doc decide to take you off the Lanoxin in the first place? When do you find out about the pacemaker.

Hey guys. Im doing much better today. My INR was down again to 1.6 so they uped my Coumadin. I was taken off Digoxin because my HR was in the 40's and my cardio decided to take me off and I did and of course my body reacted to that by going into heartfailure again. Has anyone ever had that problem with going off Dig? Im really curious. And yes Im a very young grandmother of 3. My husband and I married while I was in highschool and now our only daughter is 26 and we have been married for 27 years in December. Now we have 3 beautiful grands (5 yr old boy/girl twins and 2 year old). Harry, I hope you get to feeling much better soon. Take care.

Alicia
