I talked to my Cardiologist about the Holter results, and She said my heart had a good sinus rhythm. There wasn't any A-fib.
She increased my Metoprolol from 25mg to 50mg once a day. She said it is the long lasting type.
I have had my HR into the high 180's low 190's before med increase( the reason for the Holter).
So, this morning I rode my bike hard and my HR only got to 163, working as hard as I could. Most of the ride the HR was much lower. Resting HR is high 60's to low 70's. Now when I walk around it might hit 80's.
I just climbed "the ladder" before med increase HR went to high 160's to low 170's, after Metoprolol increase mid 140's recovering to low 80's in short amount of time.
Instructions were to keep HR below 170.
Follow up visit to Cardio in 4 weeks. But so far it seems much better
