Not sure if this counts as heart talk or valve selection as it's technically in the past!!
Just found out Jim's valve is in fact a Bicarbon Fitline, not Slimline (the modern version of the Fitline) as we thought. All the surgeon ever actually told us was it was made by Sorin and was 27mm. Still, it's the biggest available so a 27mm Fitline is a heck of a lot better than the 23mm he thought he'd be getting pre-surgery.
Oh well, too late to complain now!! It's working and that's what counts.
