I have been on now for three hours!! Probably why I didn't get on for so long...I love 'talking' to everyone and reading everything!

I have had questions..and was curious how everyone has been doing...but, I just thought I'd get on tomorrow, until tomorrow never came. Finally I was encouraged by Lynn's personal email and okay.. I'm alive!

As you will see by all my 'Reply's' to everything.. I am trying to catch up with all the gossip and... who are all these new people?! JK
You are all so good to those of us who need mental (some of us more than others):D and emotional help!!!
What would I have done without you?!

I FINALLY called to get my own INRatio this morning too! I have been (I think) in denial that I had all this stuff and I've been pushing myself too much to be 'normal'... as normal as you can be getting your Coumadin checked twice a week while going to Cardio Rehab...you know.

My INR has been continually crazy..it kinda jumps around. it went down to 1.4 last week but, went back up to 2.9 later.

The next thing on the agenda..I had a mammogram 6 months ago and they recommended a follow up in 6 months ( they thought it looked like calcifications) and so... I had the follow up last week.
Well,...now they say I need to have a biopsy, it is a category 3, suspicous abnormality, clustered and more numerous than before---to be exact
I know God will never give us more than we can take...so, apparentaly God has another plan that is on the nonplan plan. I had a cruise in mind.:D

I have been wanting to ask all of you...what about my coumadin? another stroke so soon after the last one? I am of course going out of town for this. I am going to a Surgeon in Fort Worth whom I have checked out...prayed for confirmation...and feel good about the Surgeon. Although, my appointment isn't until Thursday, 26th.
Anyway, you asked....I'll bet your sorry now!

Just glad to see you post, Deana! Will keep my fingers crossed that the biopsy come out benign, the surgeon's appt. works out well and the INR gets straightened out. You have had and still have a lot on your plate, but we're hoping all goes well and you get to take that cruise!

Deana-

Sorry you are having to have a biopsy. It can be such a scary time. I know. But keep in mind that the VAST majority of biopsies turn out to be benign. I hope that is the case for you too.

Deana -

So good to hear from you, I had been wondering how you were going. Hope that the biopsy turns out to be all okay - you really have had a lot to deal with - Take care of yourself and let us know how it all goes - Jeanne

It is good to see you again! sometimes we get to feeling so good that we forget to check in..and yes ..some of us worry a bit;)

Praying for a clean biopsy..
and stable INR!
thanks for checking in again:)

Hey, there--
I was getting concerned about you and asked SusanBAV last night at the reunion if she'd heard anything. Sorry to hear about your latest challenge, but you're right, God only gives us as much as we can handle. A friend from work e-mailed me while I was on medical leave with this: "Nothing is too big or too small to commit in the hands of the Lord."

Keep us updated...glad to see you back!:D

Deana, just wanted to let you know that a few years ago, I also had to have a biopsy for breast calcifications. They looked suspicious to the radiologist. Since I was on Coumadin, they wouldn't do a needle biopsy. They decided to do a lumpectomy. I went in the hospital and went on a heparin drip, had the lumpectomy and stayed on the drip until my INR came back up. Anyway, my biopsy was benign. I know what you're going through. Please know that I'm keeping you in my prayers. Like Nancy said, most of these biopsies are benign. I'm glad you stayed on top of this. Keep us posted. LINDA
