Help! (prayer request)

I feel a bit guilty asking for prayers yet again, especially with all those left homeless after Katrina...but here's the scoop:

Three weeks ago, just before we went to get my 10 month old grandson to live with us...we found out that we no longer have a place to live!

It's a very long complicated story, but basically we've been living here for little or nothing for the past few years.

Well, we scrambled and finally found a house to buy here in town...we made an offer on it, and we're supposed to close on the 16th of this month. We need to be out on the 18th!

Right now, we're just praying, (this if where we need your help) that the financing will go through. You see, our credit is not great... Ray filed bankruptcy 5 years ago, and his construction business hasn't been doing real well either. We're behind in some bills for the first time again since he filed bankruptcy. When it rains it pours, you know...

I know that God can get us through this thing...but maybe just a little more prayer would help??? That's all I can do. I'll leave it in His hands now. Thank you for your prayers.

I will be praying hard that you get the house, and that everything will go smooth for you and yours. There are mortgage companies out there that deal with people who have less than perfect credit, so I hope and pray that you won't be discouraged if this one doesn't go through...just keep trying. As Harold has already said if you get knocked back for a loan at a regular bank you still may be able to qualify at a finance company that deals with "non conforming loans".

I'll be praying that you get a satisfactory solution. And like the others have said, it this one doesn't work out, try one of the other avenues, but don't get caught agreeing to pay for something you can't handle. There are other possibilities as well if that doesn't work... I'm a former R.E. broker. PM me if you would like to talk.

Never feel guilty about asking for prayer. Think about it this way, you are offering others the opportunity to spend much needed time with God. Sometimes I imagine him sitting on the sofa while I do who knows what and he's saying "hey I'm here what about me??????????"

Keep positive and try not to get discouraged, I'm lifting you up.
