When I had a repair to my valve when I was a kid, they did not entirely solve the leaking issue, my valve was still leaking a little but I managed to live an intense life with it. I dont know if that helps but I just wanted to let you know that my repair was not a 100 percent repair either. It went from severe to mild.

good to know juliendu. yeah i guess it was expecting it to not leak anymore but i guess that isn't what i should be expecting. i find out on 3/2 how much it's actually leaking and it's sucks to have to wait so long.
