Now that I am starting to feel better after 2 days straight of lightheadedness (although all the test results were OK, I still think I was dehydrated and that's why I got so weird in the head), I feel  dumb about going to the ER in the first place.

If you all don't mind saying, have any of you been in the ER post-op after surgery, and if so, how many times?

I'm just thinking I'm almost 2 years out of surgery now and I shouldn't be having any (more) weird episodes that end up with a trip to the hospital and a worried Hubster. I feel so bad about worrying him so with these things. Does it ever end?

Thanks,
Debi (debster913)

Or perhaps it was that extra 10 that caused the lightheadedness, too? I've never gained weight that quickly!

Debi,
I don't know the cause of it but I have been experiencing some lightheadedness similar to what I felt after I had surgery a little over a year ago. I'm not sure what it is, but I was also feeling extreme fatigue. I felt this way when I was diagnosed with low thyroid, so I went to the doctor and my thyroid was low again. My dr upped my med dosage. I will be interested to see if this solves my lightheaded and weight problem...like you I need to lose 10 lbs. BTW, when I 1st was diagnosed with low thyroid, one of my symptoms was shortness of breath when I exercised.
