The school board has been keeping me really busy, but I got some nice PMs today that reminded me that I have missed a lot by being away too long.
In addition to the school work I have begun working with an old organization with a new name. I hope some of you will be hearing of the Northern New Mexico Regional Art Center sometime in the future.
I have come back with a new picture that I really like. I finally got with the times and learned a little bit about Photoshop. My real motivation for working with this difficult (for me) program was to create the picture linked to below. I missed a chance to have this hung in a gallery because I haven't come up with a title I like. I know there are a lot of creative folks out there, and I would like to play "Let's make a deal". I need a title of not more than 4 words that will fit on a brass plaque. I want the title to help guide the viewer towards the experience I had in mind when I created this image.
"What did I have in mind?"--I wanted to contrast the brightness and elementary beauty of the beginning of life with the mysticism and mystery that comes at the end of life and beyond. If it wasn't worn out by a famous Disney movie, "The circle of life" might have been a good title. But perhaps there is an entirely different direction this could take.
For the first one who can give me a title I can use, I will send you a 12 by 8 quality copy of the image. If I come up with something before anyone else I will let you know. I look forward to hearing from you, and would also love to hear what you think of the image itself.
