Hello...my name is Elise Lucas and I live in Perth Western Australia. I found this site via a site we have here in Australia called Heartnet. It is for heart patients and carers and also interested people. It is a joint project between The Heart Foundation of Australia WA and a university. I had an aortic valve replacement three years ago and of course I am on Warfarin but have been lucky and all is going well with my health. I keep fit by swimming and walking and going to exercise classes. I try to eat healthily and I manage to do this but of course have some indulgences now and again.
