Well after being here awhile I must say I was ignorant about heart problems. I always thought that heart related issues were more or less a male-related problem, boy was I wrong. The women in this forum are brave and tough to have gone thru all that you have. I am amazed at how much so. I have received a major education by coming here, Thanks! 7 days to go for me, whew.

And, Yes, we have many female valvers..... and most of recovered a lot quicker than most Male valvers.. because, we don't think..we have to go out and run a mile, have sex the same night after returning home any of those Macho things..that men feel like they have to do..to recover. quickly.... After our surgery..we come home and let the Hubby's wait on us.... ..Hoping for a fast recovery. After 3 years..if I feel like not up to cooking..he will still think...Poor thing..she had OHS 3 years ago.. and I can get him to cook..while I chat on Sunday Night VR.com chat.... ..Ross is right..if he gets out of line..We slap him around a tad. Gets him back on track... Bonnie

Hi there Chuck! No wonder we're the ones having to go through labour! LOL!! I don't think men, and I mean it, would last long enough to get to see the child after giving birth, and still have a big grin on his face!! LOL!! I've already three OHSs, and there's more to come. I suppose that's what I've been doing in my spare time.
