I searched for this in the forums, but didn't see any references. I found this site and thought some of the ratings for Hospitals in my area were a little surprising with regards to valve surgery.
According to their FAQ, the ratings are based on raw medicaire data.
The hospital I'm likely headed for for my surgery was ranked #1 in the city for one period, which surprises me because we have some really reputable institutions and a very large medical program at the University of Washington.
I'd bet you folks have seen this site before, but as I didn't see any references to it, I thought I'd pass it along.
