Heading to Cleveland

Hi all,

Well, I've done a lot of reading on here about what to take with me and have ready at home for after and I think I'm as ready as I can be ... physically. Emotionally, I'm not sure I will get there totally, but I'm still working on that.

I am SO glad I found this site. It's really helped a lot.

We leave at noon today to go to Cleveland and I start pre-op appointments tomorrow morning. Will check back in as soon as I can.

Arlene, Wish I knew who you were!!! I am heading to Cleveland also today after my teaching day is over. I am staying at the Holiday Inn - Lakeside. I hear CCF is a huge place. Who is your doctor? Mine is Dr. William Stewart. Have a ton of tests scheduled. Best of luck to you! Debbi

I lived in Cleveland for 4 years back in the late 70's. What a dump! They've really done a great job cleaning up their act. I hope you're in and out with no problems and don't have to time to go sight seeing. You'll want to get home, I'm sure. Do well, Good Luck!

Cleveland Clinic will take great care of you and I will be praying that your surgery and recovery will go very smoothly and you can say "been there-done that" with only good memories of Cleveland.
